I've also been on this message board and have had other people tell me that Perphenazine is an old school medication. I really don't have a choice. I go to the psychiatrists they give me and they put me on whatever. Also I haven't had the same psychiatrist and they finally got one to stay for awhile. I've seen a lot of different psychiatrists and not the same one. I really don't request my medications and I wouldn't know what to ask for. They also really didn't want to take me off of Clozaril and it took them awhile to agree to it. I do understand I have a mental condition and if I'm not on medications it won't be good for me.
