Instead of banging your head on the wall, could you just throw something at the wall, like a book or something?
Actually, I try to do things that won't make holes. Magazines? Hampers full of clothes? Boxes? I don't know. Anything around you that looks like it won't make too big of a hole if you throw it at the wall.
Sorry. That's probably bad advice.
But when I get fiercely angry that's all I can do.
Or could you go for a long drive and scream at the top of your lungs? I do that. It makes me feel better. Except that I usually lose my voice afterwards. And it doesn't cause any damage to personal property.
