Going to a shelter wouldn't be a bad idea. Let someone else do the worrying and taking care of you. Put that responsibility on someone else and give yourself a break in that respect. It's difficult to put your trust in strangers, but they're trained for that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there more resouces for groups than there are for individuals? "There's safety in numbers."
