Turns out Im BP2 and my pdoc said that AD's can make BP more depressed with higher frequency of SH and suicide.
I was treated for depression for over a year and used a # of different antidepressants my SI increased during that time .
When I got off them,the thoughts of SH eased and when I started lithium the suicidal thoughts eased even more.
