Good news. I straight out asked my pdoc if he was going to continue my Ambien prescription even though he declared me "dependent" on it. He said yes. Apparently a talk with the psych nurse where I have psychotherapy helped him realize how a decent night's sleep is very important to help with psychiatric anxiety that aggravates Insomnia. All so complicated.
My pdoc bypasses medicare, just writes me the scrip on paper and i get it from WalMart as Zolpidem, 30 for $7.49. But ya'll are probably way ahead of me on those strategies!
I'll be glad when i don't need anything from doctors and "authorities" as it just makes life difficult trying to get what one needs just when least able to deal with such hassles. I hear the pain medicine ordeal is the worst predicament of all for those really hurting and legitimately trying to get their prescriptions filled.
