I am/was/will be on Effexor. I was on it about a month and a half, and it helped some depression but did nothing for anxiety for me either. It also sort of just put me in a fog sort of state. I couldn't really cry or laugh or anything. I'm supposed to be on an Effexor/Wellbutrin combo right now, but I can't afford the Effexor at the moment, so I will start it all back up in August, but for now I'm just on Wellbutrin. My doctor told me, though, that Effexor/Wellbutrin is a common combo to really help. I think the Wellbutrin alone has helped me, though.
