I'm kind of running slim on options. Straight up anti depressants are out becuase they put me in a mixed state or hypo manic then there's the stuff that was ineffective or gave me side effects.

I took Saphris for a few days but the restless leg syndrome thing was so bad and I can't take beta blockers because of asthma.

I really need to update my signature.

Zyprexa made me eat all the time and hungry even when I was full. I took Seroquel for almost 8 years and was ready to try something else. I can't remember what effect I had with Tegratol but it was something.

Latuda wasn't approved by my insurance when I tried it -- took 3 weeks or so to get Saphris approved and It hink I took it for less than a week. Risperdal gave me anxiety attacks. Geodon was ruled for reasons I can't remember (I think related to how much weight people gain...maybe)

When I was in the IOP program the nurse there just printed out a 2 page sheet and we went down them. At the time I was taking just Lithium and klonopin and looking at the list we came up with 3 possiblilities. 1) add Lamicatal (which is what we did), 2) see if insurance will cover Latuda now and 3) try MAOI patch because I had good results with that at one time...before I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
