Yeah I'm exactly the same BeyondtheRainbow - music that I listen to usually reflects my mood. I try keep my tunes somewhat upbeat but no that is definitely not always possible as I still fall backwards sometimes and play the dark sombre ones when I'm down which only adds fuel to my declining mental health. It's only good for me from the point of view that I can relate to what the artists are saying, as I can relate to this post too.
If I'm conscious of it, I really do try make a concerted effort to change what's on my current playlist because music can have a powerful impact on our mood.
