That oxytocin is also what the female releases when breast feeding her baby.....it is for that bonding purpose....so it's important to make sure that partner you have sex with is the right person because unless you are a feelingless person who is out for only the recreation aspect of sex without any meaning (cold heart) you are going tot have that bonding feeling happen.....& it's something you NEED to be aware of before choosing to do it....it's not just an act, it's an act that is meant to create bonding between husband & wife....done outside of marriage it still creates the same hormones but without any commitment, it leaves one open to all kinds of hurt & messed up emotions.

after my divorce and I started dating (and sleeping with) my current girlfriend all sorts of things changed for the better. Out of the blue people have come up to me and commented on how much better I look, and how happier I seem. And yes I'm sure part of it is putting my divorce behind me but I think a lot of it is having an actual sex life.

Where I live now, people never saw me when I was still living with my H (I still am not divorced because of financial issues)....but many people comment about how happy I look without having the comparison (it would be even more of a noticable extreme)....but just being out of a bad marriage & a bad situation can cause that peaceful happier look....it doesn't take having another person or sex for that to happen....it takes being at peace with the situation that you life is in at the time & has nothing to do with another person having to be involved.
