I met a nice 70-year-old man in New Orleans (I was 57), and we agreed the age gap was too great. Also, he wanted sex, and I wasn't ready. I contacted him, not vice versa. So, I don't think you can give up on online meeting. But I had a "gut" feeling he was a good one to contact, and he was a very interesting, rather well-balanced guy. I was the one who was off-kilter. He is the only one I ever contacted so far, and that was in 2004.
