I am also getting triggered. My brother physically abused me, not sexually (although my parents suspected it was sexual) and they put some similar "safeguards" in place, to no avail.

I feel weird watching this unfold in the media and I am sorry the girls were outed as victims without wanting to be. But I am also very sorry that they were abused and seem to have been told how to feel about it.
