That's so sad that you haven't seen a good response from Remeron alone. I'm hoping that I'll be in the minority, then, who actually does benefit from it. Fingers crossed.

I can't tolerate any of the SSRIs because they cause my blood pressure to sky rocket. Wellbutrin makes my heart rate too fast. Effexor made me tooooo sleepy, but I wouldn't think of giving it a second try because everyone seems to have such a difficult time coming off of it. Yikes! And Serzone (which is "outlawed" lol here in Canada) made me not be able to walk straight!!!

I'm at 30mg of Remeron now. I take it at bedtime with my Seroquel. I can't say that I've noticed any difference in my depression, but I've only been taking for 4 days so far. I used to take 60mg before, but had to quit due to a horrible rash!!! But I felt better at that dose. Darn!

I also have Gabapentin. Do you think the two might work well together? I've only been using the Gabapentin irregularly. Have you heard of anyone taking Remeron and Gaba together with good results?
