I've taken Effexor for years and it's done wonders for depression, but absolutely nothing for anxiety. I just started on celexa about 8 weeks ago and it's supposed to be good for anziety too, but I'm not sure I've noticed any difference. I take clonazapm for the anxiety but am a bit affraid of it since I have a history of abusing benzos.
