Hi, couch.

I am home from CVS and caught up on the couch.

CVS was fairly busy tonight (until about 9pm, to which I moved to inventory tasks). I found out "why" I am being moved into the assistant inventory tech (fake) title. The pharm that came in for the overnight shift tonight said that our lead inventory tech gave her 2 weeks notice, so the pharm manager is training 2 people (one day, one night) to do teh inventory tasks once the other tech leaves.

The schedules were finally posted. What did my absent-minded pharm manager do?!? Scheduled me for during the day on both upcoming Mondays. I had requested to leave Mondays during the day open for my appointments. I have T next week and pdoc the following week, but I am scheduled to work while I have the appointment. I tried to swap shifts with someone, but no one wanted to trade with me because they liked their shift better. So, now, I guess I have to call T and pdoc tomorrow to try to reschedule. pdoc may be able to as they will double book in certain cases, so hopefully they will this time. T though I am worried about. Shs is really booked usually. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she has a cancellation that fits my work schedule. I hate my luck. Of course if the schedule would have been posted on time, I would have had 2-3 weeeks to figure something out, but now I have less than one. Grrrrrrr.....

I guess I could always tell the pham manager that I can't work and remind him that I requested off on Mondays during the day, but with the one tech leaving and others going on vacation, we are short staffed. I just don't know what to do.
