Hi Ouch!

You know, there are horrible days for all of us..really sorry to hear abt your job demotion..must have been really hard to take!

Feeling out of control with your moods...are you on any meds? I am BP2 and have just reached "stability" after 9 mths on the med carrousel. I still experience cycles up & down, however they episodes are less intense: more manageable. I am taking Paxil, Seroquel, Trazodone, nightly, and Zoploclone as needed for sleep.

Perhaps you need to review your meds...or wait for them to kick in. My recipe above took about 6 weeks to reach full effect.

When we are depressed , everything just seems so bad..so hopeless. I totally understand..I was laid off in August, diagnosed w Osteoarthritis in November, and BP2 the week of Christmas! I was devated. With the help/support of my GP, my Therapist, PDoc...and meds I can say I am now feeling better. It is a rough road we are on..however it CAN be better.

One of my most effective techniques is prayer. It comforts me..and seems to carry me through. and my prayers HAVE been answered many times. This may not be for you though....it is a personal thing.

Hang in there..each day gets a bit easier as you learn to cope.
And remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Call on me anytime!

Sincerely,
Grace03
