Unlike any other organ, the liver regenerates itself. Quite literally, the liver you have now is not the liver you had a decade ago. Provided there is not some specific pathology that interferes with the regenerative process, there's really not much to be concerned about. The liver's job is to process (detoxify) toxins. It's really quite good at doing so, without any attention from us.
