I've also always been one who wanted some kind of body art. Probably since I was about 12.

When I was 18 I had my cartlidge pierced on my right ear. And a second set of holes in my lobes.

At 20, after I'd had a baby, I had his name tattooed on my hip. I will have my daughters name done on the other side in October, as my birthday gift.

I would still like to get that butterfly on my shoulder, one someone designed for me, I've long since lost the picture, but I'm sure I can describe it well enough to get someone else to draw it.

When I was 22, and had gotten great scores on my GED I had my naval pierced. However 3 months later, and had just found out I was pregnant, since it was still all nasty and not healing, I took it out. I nearly had it repierced a few weeks ago...during a manic episode, but I decided against it at the last minute. (The place had said they would repierce for free, which was the only reason I was going to have it done right then.)

And my husband and I would like to find a symbol for fidelity, so that we can have that tattooed somewhere...haven't decided where I would get mine, he would have his on his right arm.
