Yes as stated the JSJ rash is quite rare. Less than 7%.

Lamictal actually works on the depressive aspect of Bipolar, Its down right useless for the hypo/mania range to be honest.

There are many mood stabilizers that can be tried... Hearing the words " Bipolar" can be very upsetting but it can also be a positive, you now have a name/label and you can begin learning about Bipolar and how your own unique Bipolar responds to medications and lifestyle changes.
