No I don't believe it's an unreasonable thought at all to think what if I'm stuck in the same job ....

I've had those intrusive thoughts from time to time when I was employed.

But honestly? If you want to grow there are two options:

Proactively look for opportunities that you can get involved in that might enrich your current experience and broaden the scope of what you do -

And secondly, please don't ever think that there isn't an alternative organisation out there ....

Not that for one second I'm alluding to the fact that you jump and resign, but more just putting it out there as a thought in the back of your mind, that's all.

No matter what I wish for you to find some enjoyment in your current work situation
