It is of the utmost importance that we each try and control our streams please.

Yes, positive or negative. We know where each comes from, don't we?

Wow, can I think of a million answers to that. Can we narrow it down to love and fear? Of course there's more.

Control is a skill---ongoing action--imo. Grounding is good... but equally important I think is to block the flow... if it's not intentionally being given to another, then it's being stolen from me. There are way too many energy-zappers in my formerly active life!

I hear that! I try to act in accordance with the first example of energy streams given above at all times but there will be/are, times when I am in contact with those who have their own unique kind of energy, as it should be. I have been careful with it. There are those who believe very differently than I do, polar opposites. I'm thinking of times I have been with men who did not care about their own health a lot. Their freedom seemed to matter little to them as well. Those were tense times, but, we connected in a way that probably saved my life. I let them speak and have their freedom to express. It kind of became a real scary situation but I counted on one thing, that I, or THE NAMELESS ONE, would give me the strength and the wisdom and the courage to survive. I did not compromise my principles with these men. I gave their place in the world validation, I listened to them and treated them like the wounded beings they were, I saw within them their own personal strengths and wholeness and I gave respect to the personal power they had within themselves. I spoke my own truths as well. They did not harm me. A mutual regard developed, I felt the grace of a power larger than myself present. Neither they, nor I gave in, and no harm came to anyone.

The only times I become really exhausted is when the Holy Spirit "shows up" IRL so to speak when I am discussing something of eternal importance with another....

I have come to believe, to accept, to value in my own life that the 'Holy Spirit" (for me, there is no suitable gender or name) is present at all times and that everything and everyone, is sacred.
