This is an interesting topic. I also was raised to remain a virgin till married, but being a young woman and art student around all the hippie culture of the late '60's, early '70's, I did manage to wait till age 21. Like Raynaadi, I too don't know how I managed to hold off that long. Because of my upbringing, even as an older woman, I simply cannot and never have been able to engage in casual sex for sex's sake! (I sometimes wish this were not so! ) but there it is! I think of sex as the most intimate thing two people can share, i.e., an act of love.
