Regardless of what the truth is/isn't of these areas - the general attitude is one of of denial & assuming it's all madness - which is the general attitudes towards any non-ordinary experiences.
The trouble is that a percentage of people are mentally/emotionally ill - there is a psychopathology in what some people are going through - & it can be very hard to separate things out within each individual case.
How deep does the rabbit hole go? Within certain areas & experiences i think that we get into some very murky waters - & everything, when all's said & done is very largely perspectives & opinions.
i gave my opinion on it all, which is long considered - My own life & experiences i accept the diagnosis that i've had/have an illness & part of that i manage with a medication.
i hope that you find a resolution/solution/answers that you seek - But it seems that many don't - & there may Not be concrete answers to certain questions/areas.
