Okay...so I've posted about this 10 foot tall poison ivy tree still growing from neighbor's yard over the privacy fence, reaching all the way down to my grass line. My friend tells me "Roundup" sprayed on the leaves will kill it, but the "tree" is uphill from my little vegetable garden, and I am concerned that spraying the killer on the poison ivy, it will either mist over to my vegetables, 10 feet away, or leach into the ground and contaminate them. She says Roundup will only stay on the poison ivy and not affect my garden, but it is close by and downhill from it.
Advice please!
