Are you seeing a doctor or a therapist? If so, you might want to discuss it with them. They may be able to suggest some better coping skills.

I hope you find a better way as drinking can cause many problems when it gets out of hand. But it sounds like you are a very self-aware person and that should help you through this though time.
Thank you. I am starting to see other coping methods. This morning in my walk, I think that this might actually may be helpful. I took meds to stop me from crying. While people say to me that it is good to cry and keep crying until you are finally done crying, but I woke up every morning for over 3 years. So I realized it became a habit. Though I did wake up with nightmares of my ex with the girlfriend at the time. And seeing them together in my dreams or nightmares made me wake up crying. So people I think 3 years was enough. SO this morning I was thinking that the drinking is helping me to feel the good feeling. Happy feeling because it doesn't come naturally. Actually I am going to quit drinking that much and if I find that I have limits then I have to quit all together. Because I really don't want to live like that and also it cost money. I really don't have the money to spend on something like this. I have to build my life.

Anyway with boredom. Maybe there is somewhere that I can understand about that.? I think I am missing something.
