Insane bureaucracy in the health care system is greatly frustrating. I just avoid it for myself as being dead is better for me than dealing with mds, insurance co, and others. But for those who don't feel the way I do, it can be a very very frustrating process. And you get different and conflicting responses each time you call in - sometimes at the request of the drug overlords. I don't know how many insane conversations we have had with the drug provider we have to use due to their calling us and requesting a callback (for sick bff) and when we call back - everyone is clueless. I am not saying it is good for anyone to get yelled at - but the set up is such that sick, scared people have little control and are often faced with unnecessary stupidity.

At least with the dogs I can easily change vets and often have a lot of different choices of how and where to get the drug the one dog takes.
