K, the long and short of it...I had a large cavity in my eye tooth 2 years ago, couldn't afford to have it filled, 1 year ago they said it needed a root canal, certainly couldn't afford that...March, this year, the tooth chipped...2 months ago, the tooth broke off to the gum....this past Friday until present...excruciating sharp pain from the gum up the left side of my face, even behind my eye. I only have Medicare which doesn't have dental insurance. A friend offered to pay for an emergency visit, I'm going Thursday. Since Friday, I have been using alot of Orajel..bought my 2nd tube today. I just looked at the tube and it says use up to 4 times daily. Well, I have been applying it every 1/2 hour. If something was going to happen, it probably already would have, right???????

I can just picture the death certificate now....
