It is never easy, a battle every day. If you can do something small, achieve a small target like get dressed or take a shower and PRAISE YOURSELF FOR ACHIEVING THIS instead of the easy habit of criticising yourself, slowly the paralysis can reduce. Easier said than done! Depression is learned helplessness, (a lesson I learned well) so taking charge of yourself in a small way is a way to kick it in the teeth and show it is not in complete control.
