I think this is a great idea! I think I understand what you are saying...let me see if I get it right ok?

When someone is feeling low, it's hard to accept from others the kind of help they are offering. It's hard to accept the positive when all you feel is the negative. So to push people away or to run away from the support is some folks ways of dealing with the uncomfortableness of positive support. Folks may then feel the need to reciprocate the positive support back to others that they have received and that's a difficult thing to do when they don't feel positive themselves.

The great thing about PC is that we can be what we are here without the pressure of needing to be supportive and positive to the next person if that's not where we are at the moment. I know for myself, I don't expect anyone to be supportive of my issues if they are not in a place where they can give support. The other wonderful thing about PC is that if you find yourself in a space where you can only give a hug to someone, that can mean more than words could ever say.

What I guess I'm trying to say in my long winded way is this .... We are what we are at any given time. In a community like PC, there are those who are in really tough spots and those who are in the middle and those who are in an easier place. We are all here learning and growing every single day. We are all struggling and succeeding in our goals to be in a better place. Some move more quickly than others, and that's ok. We are what we are

Hugsssss
