Very good. It's not a new idea though but one that is good to read about specifically from time to time. I think many people forgot or just plain don't realize that they act out their own abandonment issues right here at PC. If not that, that unable to express their need for attention (which is not necessarily bad) they become upset and want to leave the very place they come for that attention, and help.

I think it's up to us, who are not disordered in this fashion, to help those who are going through this along. PC is a great place to learn and relearn social skills of getting along in a group, albeit virtual one. It's a great place to realize that we all have needs and can have many of them met without taking anything from someone else. Self knowledge is great!

While it does wear on us oldtimers when the same ppl need to threaten to leave and be talked back into staying over and over.. eventually they work through it, and we are all stronger for the experience. It's all part of some ppl's process.
