Excuse me, but what controls the involuntary release of adrenaline that causes the "fight or flight" syndrome?
In my 22 years of living with anxiety, I've yet to find anything, even "mind over matter" that controls biological responses. In my weakened mental state, it was completely impossible to use my mind to control phobias, the feeling of dying and especially that adrenaline rush that goes through one's body and makes your heart feel like it's going to come right out of your chest, the thoughtless need to run for your life because there's a huge steam engine right on your heals!
Methinks you need to control the mentally uncontrolable chemical imbalances in the brain before you can start working on the wrong thinking.
