Hi Wissenchaft,

Thanks for introducing yourself to us

From what I can see, this is your first approved post here on PsychCentral, so congratulations on joining. This is an awesome website to be a memer of.

I'm sorry to hear about the circumstances surrounding this post.

You seem to have alot of emotional turmoil happening due to external factors in your environment.

Your study hours per day ... if they're ontop of lectures/classes seem alot - but the part that concerns me the most is your lack of sleep - 5 hours a night is simply not enough to replenish your mind and refresh your thoughts, and I think that this within itself is biologically causing even further anxiety. And it contributes towards all of the negative symptoms that you have described. Which is not a good place to be, mental health wise.

Lack of sleep brings memory loss too.

Yes, rest will help.

Rest will help you very much so.

Rest will help restore your mind.

Rest will help your working memory begin to restore itself.

Rest will enable your feelings of anxiety and fear and depressive feelings begin to lift.

It is exactly what you need over the break.

I think that you'll feel like a completely different person after this, truly I do.

As for the suggestion that your friend gave you regarding sport - absolutely, I 100% agree with what your friend has said about sport - it is so true, and it will help bring oxygen to your brain.

Lastly, I wanted to quickly add that I think it's important that you think of some self care strategies that you can use to "pamper" yourself during this break, in order to help you wind down.

What sorts of activities can you get involved in over the break?

Are there friends you can go hang out with in order to get your mind of things?

Here's wishing you a healthy, peaceful and relaxing much deserved break

And best wishes for the remainder of your studies.
Thanks for this!
