I'm confused as well. By "everything included," do you mean utilities? It's true that most motels/hotels will not charge you for utilities, but it's not a nice way to live for 4 years. Most people who live in hotels instead of an apartment do so because in the short term it can sometimes be cheaper than an apartment if you do not have money for a security deposit, etc. Over the long term, however, it can actually be more expensive, and as I said, it is not a nice way to live. Essentially you would be homeless.

What are your mom's objections to an apartment?
