Hi all!!

Well i thought i would update you all on my music. I know i dont hang around these forums much anymore, if at all. but i did promise to keep you updated...so here we go...

after my holiday to kenya, i went to a singing lesson. Part of me changed out there, i feel like a different person now. I saw things that made me really look at myself, more than i have done already. It re-focused my desires and passions for my music. the lesson i had after my holiday was the first in 2 months, due to work commitments...so i was missing it alot, and was quite nervous. I had an increased feeling of confidence, that passion really was there!!

Well anyway, i began singing "Stand By Me", the song me and my tutor have been working on (the Ben E. King version) and halfway through the song my tutor began smiling a BIG smile. At a break in the song i asked her what was so funny, she couldnt have been happier!! She refused to tell me, she said she would tell me after i have finished the song...so i continued to sing it and at the end she was all excited. I asked her what it was, and she said she finally thinks i am ready to go into a recording studio to record my first song, Stand By Me. She said i am now singing the song perfectly, with no mistakes!

So, at the end of July, in approx 2 weeks, i am heading to a multi-million pound studio to record the vocals to the song. And there will be a producer there too...and he has made a name for himself in the business too...in the past he has worked with people such as The Corrs, Ronan Keating, and David Bowie!!

This is great news for me...its what i have dreamed of doing for years...and i finally get the chance!!

I will post a link to the recording once it is finished, to give you all (or who wants to hear anyway) a chance to hear me in action! AT LONG LAST!!

so yeah, thats my update! its the perfect step in the right direction for me and my musical future! i am just so proud of myself that my tutor thinks i am good enough to be recording!! it has been a huge confidence boost, and im ready for this!
