The unconditional positive regard is from therapist to client - not vice versa. Are you suggesting everyone give a copy of the article to the therapist they hire so that the therapist may figure out how to do it better? (I did read it - have no idea what it would have to do with therapy - I fully recognize it may in some fashion - I just don't see it). In general, I did not disagree with the article.
