My boyfriend of about six months has a problem with communicating...in that he doesn't. At all, usually. It started out with him just being shy. Now he's not so much shy as just given up completely on talking or supporting a proper relationship. Even if I beg him to stay and talk to me (usually due to my depression and risk of self-harm, he either goes to sleep or doesn't respond. I currently have to force conversation with him. He wouldn't talk at all otherwise. It just...hurts. Is there any way to fix this even a little?
