Hopefully IOP will help. I've never done an IOP program before, but from what I've heard about them, you get a lot of care. I think it is like IP, but you go home at night. Do you feel like you can keep yourself safe? If you do, then IOP is probably a good option to get your symptoms under control for now. If you're feeling like you are in danger, then you probably should push for inpatient treatment.

I hope you find some peace soon. Don't hesitate to call your pdoc if it gets to be too much. He gave you his number for a reason.
Honestly, I don't know if I can keep myself safe. I'm not sure how I feel.

As for this drug , I'm not sure either. I don't know how I feel about it. My pdoc is like Christina's ip pdoc. He said it was a drug a lot of pdoc's don't use because it requires a lot of bloodwork. He said it is extremely effective for both moods and psychosis. I'm on the highest dose of Abilify available.
