Why do yo assume he must be ashamed of you?


You bailed on the party, so that wasn't him being ashamed...


And if its not that, are you referring to the fact that only his parents know? Would you prefer his entire family know your personal business?


The job thing.... are you actively pretending to be working at your husband's insistance or do you just assume nobody knows because it hasn't been discussed in front of you?
