Hi free1,
Unfortunately, as you will find out without your pdoc and meds is that none of it ever just "goes away." Boy, I wish it did!

Re the hospital bills -- did you apply for charity care? Since I don't know your income, what about bankruptcy? I know that would have to be a well-thought out decision because it's impact is huge and long-lasting. But, if you're there, you're there.

As far as pdoc and T now, have you considered applying for Medicaid? Going to the free/low income mental health clinics? You might even check online at NAMI.org to see what's available in your area. Are you close to a large public hospital? I know that in WA state we have Harborview and they have a free/low income mental health clinic as one of their many services.

Are you associated with a church? Some have counselors on staff and they may even be able to help you out with paying for your medication.

I think what I'm getting at is that if you don't have support on an outpatient basis you are going to end up in and out of the hospital like a revolving door and just racking up more bills.

I wish you all the best. If you would like to talk further, feel free to PM me!
Take care,
Okie
