I was a contract worker, so basically if I broke my contract, which apparently I did somehow by being out too much, I can lose my job. It was not a permanent position. The only way to get FMLA is if you worked there a year and i only worked 9 months. I did call today and found out I'm covered by my insurance till the end of the month, so on the 1st they are going to send me COBRA papers, so I can have insurance, while I get my own personal insurance sorted out. I swear I can't believe the damn rep for Experis told me all that ********. She's like the worst rep ever. In other news, don't work for Experis or Manpower group.
