It's worse enough as adult when we experience a death in the family but what about for young children ages 8-12 when a father dies.
1. Does that change them in more ways than anyone can imagine?
2. How does it change the relationship with the surviving mother. The kids see her crying and that inflicts even more fear and insecurity and trauma.
3. There is no more husband and the children now fill the roll in some way of the husband. The relationship between mother and children may become even deeper because she is the only surviving parent.
3. There are economical issues as well like less income or no income.
Mostly, I'm interested in how such a death affects the children and in what ways they, the remaining family and mother change because of it.
