here in my location when a treatment provider uses the wording ...depressed ... they are noting the clients mood.. example is the clients present mood happy or depressed (sad) when a treatment provider here in my location uses the term depression thats a diagnostic label of a mental disorder.
based on going by my location your first post says to me the treatment provider noted that your mood /feeling\emotion was depressed and gave you a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
by the way bipolar disorder is a type of depression. the difference between plain depression and bipolar is bipolar has patterned cycles. where as depression doesnt have the patterned cycles.
