Most all trucking companies refuse to hire BP or anyone on Psych meds due to insurance regulations. Also as Mentioned Piloting and traffic control there is a laundry list.... Basically any job that requires you to pass a physical can block someone with mental illness. Its all about Liabilities and what not.

As for life insurance.. I honestly think its bullshyt, ANY insurance policy is null and void if suicide happens , So I think its really not fair that we cant obtain half way decent policies.. I mean hey everyone is gonna die at some point and we don't all off ourselves.

Anyway ... Its always best to wait things out and not start a nasty paper trail until it is for certain that you do in fact fit correctly into the square box of whatever MI your Pdoc finally feels is a correct fit.
