Even if this forum was a lot more private, practically anyone could still weasel their way in, if they had the time and motivation to do so. Meaning that the nefarious sorts who actually want to cause trouble, would still be able to do so, and probably still would.

It's important to build and fortify personal boundaries, instead of trying to hide. Because predators are not phased by such things as having to jump through a few hoops to get through some community privacy hurdles. You have to build your armor, not hide in a bunker. It's the only way to emotionally survive.

The best part is that predators know this, which is why you will get some leaving you really creepy comments and ****. They want to see their prey hide. Because when you quit fearing them, it's game over for their sorry ***es. So you can know it, too.
