I stopped two things the last time I was pregnant: Wearing a watch and shaving.

You might think, 'Well, yeah, that makes sense--she probably couldn't reach her legs,' which was true, but I stopped shaving my armpits, too.

Here's an interesting discovery on my part and also my take on the whole issue: I discovered my skin was happier when not shaving and I didn't get BO as fast (strange, but true for me).

My take: I figure that the hair grows there naturally and anyone who can't stand it doesn't have to look at it and can go home and shave themselves silly!

My skin is in better shape than when I used to shave--no weird bumps or cuts or friction rashes. I wear shorts, capris, go swimming and feel confident in myself when in public.

My husband objected a bit at first, but now he's used to it.

I shampoo all of my hair (though I don't condition my leg or pit hair!). My leg hair is very soft and stops growing after about half an inch. I don't know why that length, but it's probably genetics. My pit hair grows longer...maybe an inch at most.

I don't really get why people are so repulsed by hair on a woman. It's natural.

And just in case you're wondering about no watch: My wrists swelled during pregnancy and after I gave birth and the swelling went down, putting one on felt constricting, so I stopped. I figured that I had a cell phone, so why did I need a watch?
Thanks for this!
