The gum is called Ecodent and I get it from Amazon. It sounds expensive but it is a lot of gum (it's like a case). YOu can get a smaller size to trial I think.

Any gum or toothpaste with baking soda helps the damage from dry mouth. I found the Ecodent searching Amazon for baking soda gum and there may be more out there that I don't know about; for price comparison it's worth checking. I haven't had to buy any for a long time because my uncle had severe dry mouth and my aunt had him try the gum but he hated it so I got a case minus one piece. It tastes like normal gum (I get freshmint flavor but it also comes in wintergreen I think and maybe something else) and helps with the bad dry mouth taste.

For toothpaste I've been using Mentadent. However I bought a ton of it on sale and since I still have had cavities I'm going try Arm and Hammer brand when this bottle finally runs out. Both have baking soda. You can also brush with just baking soda; there is no way my PTSD-enhanced gag reflex would allow that but it is an option I was given.
