I was raised baptist, but I've had problems with my church since I was a teen. I just started looking for a new church and I want to try out every type of Christianity before I settle. For the last month I've been going to an orthodox church (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthodoxy) and I like it.
Problem is that I used to drive to my dad's house to take my sister to church. I have yet to tell my dad I'm not going back to the baptist church. I'm not as afraid what he'll think about it actually, just that I want my sister in church and he doesn't agree with anything is isn't baptist.
Second is my grandparents. I'm more afraid for my grandfather's reaction. I assume my grandmother will be ok with it (two of my cousins are catholic and one grandson is baptist). I just don't know to explain this to my family.
Bottom line is that I'm happier at the orthodox church.
