For me personally: yes. I am at a point in my life where people in my immediate environment know who and what I am. I admit fault simply because of what you said: it is in my best interest. But no two ways about it, I can admit fault just fine, I just don't give a **** like an earlier post said. Heh. But admitting that I've done something "wrong" tends to win more "friends" than "enemies" even if admitting said "wrongs" is purely for my own personal gain.
