Right now, you're subscribed to what could be considered a nihilist worldview. If you're interested in philosophy, I recommend reading some of the work by Albert Camus, who puts forward his theory of Absurdism, which takes nihilism and adds a positive twist.
In essence (and this takes a while to come to grips with): Life has no purpose, is unfair and yes, has winners and losers. But instead of taking all of this and letting it get you down, and feel despondent, let it empower you. You have nothing to lose in trying to be winner yourself. Win or lose, this is your life, your experiences, your journey. For that reason alone you should embrace it, and try find joy in the absurdity of it all.
