I know Diabetics are more prone to this, if you are diabetic, rather on insulin or pills, you may want to check to see if your blood glucose is on the high side.
Before my mom had to go from diabetic meds (pills) to insulin, she would occasionally get yeast infections, one time (can't remember the name of it) the doc gave her a med that you only take one day and poof! it was gone
She still needs to always monitor her blood glucose levels with her little machine.
I have heard certain foods can encourage or even discourage this problem. Certain meds can contribute to this.
I am happy to say I have never had this problem and pray I never will.
