The funny thing is that it's so taboo for women to have hair on their legs that in ads where companies *sell* razors/depilatories/epilators/&c., they can't show the process in which a woman's hairy leg has hair removed. No problem seeing a beard in ads for men's shaving products, but with women they literally show lathered up legs being shaved that are already hairless! With products other than razors, it seems they just show a picture of the product like it's a secret what it does. *shrug*
